Established in January 2006, Real Community Services provides quality services to people living with a disability, acquired brain injury or neurological conditions by focusing on empowering and improving their lifestyles.

Through continual growth we are recruiting to add to our brilliant teams across the Sunshine Coast, Greater Brisbane, Ipswich and the Gold Coast, to assist our Participants towards achieving their goals through in-home or community support.

**The Role**

We are currently recruiting for skilled, enthusiastic and committed Support Workers in the **Moreton Bay/Sunshine Coast **region with experience in mental health. The shifts are currently available Monday - Sunday evenings, 5pm-10pm time slots, however on occasion we also have day shifts, awake overnight shifts, sleepovers, weekend and short notice shifts so flexibility is a MUST.

As a Support Worker with RCS, you will be responsible for the individualised support requested by our Participants living within a community setting. These supports may include: personal care, mental health, emotional support, domestic assistance, complex care with behaviours and personal development of our participants. You will provide a range of community access services to assist people with a disability to be actively involved in their local community. Our RCS Support Workers strive to make our Participants feel valued, respected and engage them in meaningful opportunities and relationships.

**Skills and Experiences**
- Must have a valid QLD driver's licence and own reliable transport
- Provide Covid Digital Certificate (showing both dates)
- Full Comprehensive Car Insurance
- Prior experience supporting clients with disabilities _highly desirable_
- Relevant nationally recognised qualification _highly desirable_
- Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain before employment)
- NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module (or willing to obtain before employment)
- COVID 19 Infection Control certificate (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Full Australian working rights
- Smart phone with internet access
- Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required
