Our successful, Company is currently searching for your talents. We are looking to employ a valued member of staff for the long term. We are situated in Redcliffe, Queensland and are a manufacturer of Domestic and Commercial Joinery Cabinet Making, Shop fitting, Stone Fabrication, Steel Fabrication and Painted Speciality Timber Joinery.

**Responsibility**
- Perform layout, cutting, forming, fitting and welding of structural steel, plate, pipe and other metal components according to specifications
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches and work orders to determine project requirements
- Operate specialised equipment and tools such as cutting torches, grinders, welding machines and hydraulic presses
- Ensure all work is completed to strict quality and safety standards
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with the wider team to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget

**Skill and Experence**
- Formal trade qualification in Boiler Making or Fabrication
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Boiler Maker / Fabricator, ideally in a manufacturing or workshop environment
- Proficient in operating a range of welding equipment and techniques including MIG, TIG and Stick welding
- Strong knowledge of metal properties, fabrication methods and quality control processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and work orders
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong teamwork and communication skills

Pay: $75,000-$77,000 per annum

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
