**Role**
As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a critical role in overseeing the end-to-end procurement process, change management and process change, producing guides/training materials and supporting the IT team with implementation of a new software portal.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Lead the end-to-end category management activities across a broad range of goods and services categories, to ensure that optimum procurement outcomes are achieved.
- Consult with internal and external stakeholders to manage delivery of category management outcomes.
- Support with proposal evaluation, negotiations, and contract awarding, to ensure contracts are managed in accordance with procurement framework.
- Provide advice, input, and intelligence on lifecycle management activities, along with agreed progress and planning reporting.
- Assist IT department with the implementation of new Purchasing Management system, as well as the rollout of revised procurement policy, procedures, templates to support business awareness and adoption.

**Successful Applicants will hold**:

- Relevant professional qualification (Degree or Diploma in Procurement).
- Essential to have financial literacy and reporting skills.
- Previous procurement experience of a similar nature
- Experience with any major ERP system implementations
- Broad range of Category Management experience, strong project management, negotiation, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
