**About the role**- FIFO Roster - 2 weeks on, 1 week off
- Flights, meals and accommodation provided
- Attractive remuneration
- Commencement: ASAP
- Supervise and provide leadership, guidance and coaching to a team of qualified diesel fitters and apprentices to deliver quality workmanship, productivity and efficiency
- Monitor and manage workshop activity to ensure jobs are being completed in a timely manner and the crew have the tools required to complete the job
- Provide assistance in diagnostics of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic problems

**_Skills, experience & requirements:_**
- Trade Qualification
- Extensive experience on heavy earthmoving equipment - CAT, Hitachi, Volvo
- Minimum 3+ years proven experience as a workshop supervisor, foreman or leading hand.
- Fault finding and troubleshooting (reading and interpreting schematics)
- Comprehensive knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental requirements
- Intermediate computer skills - including Microsoft Outlook, Excel etc
- Current Driver Licence - HR Desirable
- High Risk Forklift Licence - Desirable
- Construction Card (White or Blue)
- Must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical including functional assessment and drug and alcohol screening
