The organisation is looking for an experienced Technical Product Owner to join an innovative Platform Engineering team working on a technology-driven, business transformation. You will be work with the entire technology team from engineers all the way to 'Heads of Technology'. The organisation is building an Internal Development Platform (IDP) for their development community, the idea is to automate functions which gives developers the ability to connect all the technologies automating those day to day problems.

**Required Skills**:

- In depth understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle, coming from a software development/software engineering background
- Experience with agile practices
- Experience with DevOps practices and principle
- Experience working with large/multiple developer teams with a heavy focus on devops practices and automation
- Understanding of practices, tooling and frameworks with modern programming languages such as c#/.net, java, node/react,
- Strong communication skills, with a product development mindset. Experience working in a role strongly focussed on product development.
- Experience gathering product requirements, and managing a large product backlog

**Nice to have**
- Experience as a team lead, development lead, business analyst or staff/principal engineer
- Experience with platform engineering or large scale automation of developer focused processes
- Experience implementing an Internal Development Platform such as Backstage
- Experience in any initiatives focussed on Developer productivity
