This is an initial 12-month contract starting ASAP with potential to extend, based at Brisbane Airport.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Organising, implementing, and maintaining scheduling best practices across projects and program.
- Support scheduling activities for the ENMP in collaboration with Stream Leads and Project Managers.
- Assist to set up tasks and sub tasks to ensure satisfactory realisation of project product requirements, budget, and resource forecasts.
- Project and program schedule assurance and accuracy via data validation for weekly and monthly reports.
- Interact with stakeholders and project staff to Design and develop project schedules and quality schedules.
- Interact with project teams to define scope of work to develop and update detailed schedules, cost information and identification of variances from original plan.
- Evaluate project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areas.
- Analyse critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-around.
- Conduct analysis to identify key risks and constraints in schedules to ensure the critical path can be maintained.
- Support project management teams to maintain timely and effective change management processes, procedures and systems relating to the schedules.
- Work with our Managed Service Partner to ensure the Integrated Master Schedule is sequenced and the process for updating is clearly defined and followed to the agreed cadence.
- Conduct analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules.
- Develop and generate dashboard reporting, schedule assurance, project and program planning and road mapping, to enable informed decisions to be made by Program leads.
- Continuous schedule development, schedule quality analysis, and schedule baseline management and development.
- Project and program monitoring and controls.
- Support the PMO Lead and Program Director in the development and management of schedules for areas of key-focus for the program.
- Develop and drive the delivery of smaller ad-hoc scheduled work.

**Skills and experience required**:

- Must be able to achieve and maintain an Australian Government National Security Clearance as the required level
- Microsoft Project and Server and Microsoft SharePoint experience is necessary, advanced in Microsoft Excel
- Minimum 5 years' experience working in a Project or Program Management environment
- Minimum 5 years' experience in, and understanding of ICT Scheduling for Programs, Projects, and Portfolios
- Must be able to lead and drive outcomes to ensure schedule quality and process improvement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate with ICT and business senior executives, internal and external stakeholders and to escalate issues appropriately.
- High attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, liaison and communication skills
- The capacity and ability to negotiate or communicate on behalf of the program with project teams, Airservices Executive, and other key stakeholders
- Highly Desirable: Qualifications in Project Management, Strategy, Commerce or Business
- Desirable: Previous experience working with common industry standards and frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, ISO31000, P3M, SIAM, etc.
