We’ve been trusted to serve Aussie communities since 1914 and grown to become a top 30-listed on the ASX with 120,000 team members and a portfolio of iconic brands. At Coles Group, you’ll not only get to make a difference to millions of Aussie lives—you’ll also get to see your impact.
**Join Coles as a Culture & Inclusion Specialist**:
Are you passionate about playing a pivotal role in shaping a workplace that celebrates diversity and fosters belonging for 120,000 team members across Australia?
In this impactful role, you'll collaborate with teams across our stores, supply chain, and store support offices to drive initiatives that enhance our culture and promote inclusion, ensuring every team member feels valued, supported and like they belong. You’ll be leading 1-2 of our D&I pillars (Gender Balance, Cultural Awareness, Accessibility and/or Pride) as well as working on culture initiatives for Coles. If you're passionate about creating meaningful change and cultivating an environment where team members can thrive, this is the opportunity for you.
**What you will be doing**:
- Designing, developing, delivering, embedding, and evolving culture, diversity and inclusion interventions that deliver on our strategy.
- Managing existing initiatives, programs and solutions to sustainably shift diversity and inclusion metrics at Coles.
- Providing governance and strategic advice to steering committees and team member networks.
- Analysing and interpreting data to identify key trends, inform recommendations, and lead internal and external reporting (eg WGEA Employer of Choice, AWEI and Coles Sustainability Report).
- Embedding our core values across the business through our four culture levers of leadership, behaviours, symbols and systems to enable behavioural change and culture transformation.
***
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
- Experience leading Diversity & Inclusion and/or Cultural initiatives within an internal or external People & Culture function.
- Subject matter expertise and experience in Diversity & Inclusion.
- Experience working in large and complex businesses, influencing cross-functionally.
- Strong project and stakeholder management that means you’re able to identify and solve problems, ensuring the best team member experience possible.
- Strategic and adaptive mindset, critical thinking and ability to scan the horizon for emerging issues and trends.
With us it’s not about the discounts (although you do get those), it’s about joining a team where your wellbeing and professional development is our investment and celebrating your contributions is the norm. And because everyone leads unique lives, we offer flexible work, additional leave and parental leave entitlements.
