**Job Summary**:
As a Financial Officer at Mini Masterminds, you will be responsible for overseeing various financial functions, including management reporting, financial reconciliations, cash flow management, financial compliance, and reporting and analysis. Your expertise in financial matters will be instrumental in supporting strategic decision-making and driving the company's continued success.
**Responsibilities**:
Management Reporting:
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management, offering valuable insights into the company's performance and financial health.
- Collaborate with department heads to analyse financial data, highlight key trends, and identify areas for improvement.
Financial Reconciliations:
- Conduct regular financial reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain a strong control environment to safeguard the integrity of financial data.
Cash Flow Management:
- Implement effective cash flow management strategies to optimise cash resources and support day-to-day operational needs.
Financial Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
- Stay up to date with relevant financial laws and regulations, making necessary adjustments to ensure adherence.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate comprehensive financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform financial analysis, variance analysis, and cost assessments to assist management in making informed decisions.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Financial Officer, Financial Controller, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis using tools like Microsoft Excel or other financial software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities to convey complex financial information to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of the toy industry or educational market is advantageous but not mandatory.
