**Your Opportunity**

You will be part of the
**Tax, Transactions and Accounting **Parramatta practice and working as an integral part of our national team. This role will give you the opportunity to contribute to our growth journey while ensuring that you have the required support and guidance from our senior practitioners across the nation.

As an
**Assistant Manager, **you will consult on client projects and you will be exposed to a range of industries and sectors in the mid-market. You will operate under the direction and coaching of a Director and / or a Partner. And as part of our growth you will start to contribute to business development activities across KPMG from the start.

Working with KPMG Enterprise gives you the opportunity to work with household brands and liaise directly with company owners, CEO's and key decisions makers as a trusted advisor.

**About the Position**:
This role will give you an opportunity to:

- Provide tax and accounting advice and solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients which includes family groups, trusts and partnerships, foreign subsidiaries, and mid-market companies.
- Further develop your technical expertise working across services including tax and accounting compliance and business/tax advisory.
- Play a key role across the full scope of client engagements including regular client contact and attending client presentations and meetings with senior leaders.
- Be a part of the wider KPMG Enterprise group and gain exposure to working alongside our advisory business as we work to fulfil our clients needs
- Work with a Personal Development Manager on your career growth and personal goals.
- Develop your skills across a broad range of tax issues or specialise in a chosen field.
- Grow as a mentor and develop managerial skills, overseeing team members, encouraging their continued professional development.

**To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include**:

- Experience in Tax, Accounting or Business Services with the willingness to learn and develop your skills across the sector
- Relevant tertiary qualifications such as CA or CPA (or equivalent). We will also consider people currently studying but not yet qualified and can assist towards your study.
- You will be able to demonstrate an ability to keep up to date and understand any changes to taxation law and accounting standards.
- Masters in Tax will be highly regarded however not mandatory.
- Solid tax and accounting technical / systems capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills will be key as you develop relationships with key stakeholders among our clients.
- A client centric approach and ability to understand your clients' business.
