
Bookkeeper/receptionist

Our showroom, located in Daw Park, displays our latest range of products and designs with an emphasis on comfortable living and home improvement.
We are looking for a bookkeeper who is proficient in MYOB, Microsoft Word and Excel. The successful applicant will have at least 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping position. The successful applicant will commence on a casual basis with a view to moving to a permanent part time position. Applicants should be available for 15 to 25 hours per week and be available to fill in to cover staff leave including long service leave.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Manage incoming phone calls.
- Preparation and payment of supplier payments.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Processing payroll and maintaining payroll records including staff leave.
- PAYG and superannuation payments.
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts and payments.
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely payments and collection.
- Have good communication skill, both verbal and written.
- General data entry.
- Filing and general administration duties

**Education**:
- Certificate I - IV (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
- MYOB: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
