We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:

- Demonstrated highly developed management skills with the proven ability to lead, direct and coordinate security architecture activities within a diverse and complex organisational environment. Proven strategic, conceptual and analytical skills to identify ICT security risks and translating this into in strategic business direction, plans and discrete programs of work within an environment of competing priorities and limited resources. Demonstrated high level skills in negotiation, consultation and communication (written and verbal) with a diverse group of stakeholders in an environment of change. Thorough knowledge of, and demonstrated experience with the concepts, strategies and issues associated with public sector ICT security and related services.
- A tertiary or postgraduate qualification in Information Technology, Cyber Security is highly desirable. Knowledge and understanding of the concepts and principles of information and communication technology in the context of enabling business solutions is also desirable.
