Who are we?
We are Mingara, the greatest Club on the Central Coast, offering a diverse range of facilities. As well as restaurants, cafes, bars, gaming, TAB, Keno, promotions and events, we also have a world-class gym, indoor Olympic pool, an international standard athletics track and a wellness precinct with hairdresser, beautician, physiotherapist and martial arts studio.
**A great opportunity**
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Gaming Lead to join our team. As a positive, uplifting and experienced leader, you will be responsible for driving the surprise and delight mission within the team, role modelling the vision and values of Mingara, and providing leadership to the Gaming team.
The purpose of this role is to:
- Provide leadership, direction and support to the Gaming team to ensure the highest levels of customer service are being delivered
- Deliver RSA and RCG with confidence to ensure the safety of our members and guests
- Support training, onboarding and coaching of new starters within our Gaming arena
- Contribute to our progressive and evolving organisation
- Think on your feet and problem solve with a customer focus
**To succeed in this role you will have**:
- A genuine passion to make people feel great and the ability to build great relationships
- Exceptional experience in communicating with both customers and team members
- Experience in performing gaming/wagering cash handling duties
- Demonstrated leadership skills in coaching and motivating a team
- Demonstrated ability to deliver agreed outcomes and targets, both personal and for your team
- A high standard of personal presentation and communication
- A high degree of discretion, integrity and confidentiality
- Flexibility and availability across the operating hours of the Club
- Current RSA and RCG certificates
