We have an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Facilities Coordinator to join our friendly team. The role requires working across multiple sites including Mingara Recreation Club and The Greens The Entrance. Mingara Recreation Club is based in Tumbi Umbi and is 22,000m2 in building size, including an Aquatics Centre, Large Gym, Track and Field Centre, 5 Bars, 4 Restaurants an amazing Gaming Area and an Event Centre that can cater to 1500 people. The Greens The Entrance is based in the Entrance (Central Coast) and we are currently building a brand new venue, focusing on gathering together community, excellence in lawn bowls, friends and family.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years experience leading a maintenance team and contractors.
Main duties of the role:
- ** General Maintenance and Repairs**:handling the day-to-day maintenance and repair work on site
- ** Contractor Coordination**: liaising with, inducting and monitoring external contractors conducting maintenance/repair work
- ** Compliance**:identifying, reporting and repairing any workplace hazards or security discrepancies ensuring the highest levels of compliance
- ** Budgets**:Prepare and monitor the property budget for each site and process invoices
- ** Asset Management**:Monitor and report on all site/s plant and equipment and assist in collation / review of the asset register and preparation of yearly capital budgets
- Overseeing grounds maintenance
- Overseeing aquatics maintenance
- Be on call for advice on emergencies as required after hours
- Project work when required
**About you**
You are a self-starter and have extensive experience leading, motivating and coaching a team, but also have the ability to work autonomously and set your own goals. You are passionate about facilities management and seek out opportunities for continued learning and development in this field.
- Proven Experience in leading facilities / maintenance teams
- Experience with implementation and use of Facility Management software
- Ability and willingness to operate in a fast-paced environment
- A can-do attitude with a high level of personal presentation & communication.
- A strong desire to expand your knowledge and constantly improve your skill set.
- Regularly meet with and assess contractors performance in line with contract requirements. Tender and review small service agreements.
- Thorough knowledge of WHS regulations including Annual Fire Safety Statements, RCD Testing, Test & Tag and all other aspects of statutory compliance.
- Extensive experience with managing various building systems such as aquatics plant, cogeneration plant, lifts, FIP & EWIS, HVAC, BAS.
- This is a hands-on position so the ability to coordinate and carry out maintenance with mínimal impact to the business is a must
