Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Maximising the effectiveness of programs. This includes engaging with stakeholders to facilitate projects and linking them with contracted service providers and other labour market intermediaries
- Contribute to the management of performance and compliance of programs and grant funding in accordance with contractual and legislative frameworks
- Investigating and manage reasonably complex issues regarding frontline service delivery and provider operations under limited direction
- Actively participating in planning, project management, decision-making and solution brokering, as required
- Providing support to our Ministers, and the department’s National Office teams, as required.
- Providing administrative support to the team

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience working in grants, contracts or projects is highly advantageous but not essential as transferable skills will be considered.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, program guidelines and contractual frameworks to contribute to resolving complex issues to drive performance, compliance, and quality of program delivery.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to analyse information and present written assessments to support decisions.
- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Must hold a current Baseline Clearance or be willing to obtain one
