**Eligibility**

**Division Responsibilities**
The People, Communication and Parliamentary Division (PCPD) is an integral part of the
Corporate Operations Group. We support the department to deliver on its priorities by
providing efficient, effective and strategic parliamentary, human resources, change
management and communication services. We partner with our colleagues from within our
group and across the department to understand their needs to drive and deliver flexible,
customer-focused solutions that are timely and high quality. We take a whole of APS
approach to work and look for opportunities to make a positive impact on departmental
outcomes.
**Branch Responsibilities**
The New Ways of Working (NWOW) branch supports the Department to improve the speed
and likelihood of change adoption and supports staff of all levels to use different spaces and
technology depending on the type of work being done. The branch is made up of the
NWOW program and the Enterprise Change Management Office.
**Section Responsibilities**
The Enterprise Change Management Office (ECMO) is an in-house consultancy service
focused on supporting the successful adoption of organisational change. ECMO sits within
the New Ways of Working (NWOW) Branch and has been established to support people
- related change initiatives across the department.
**Key Responsibilities**
As an Enterprise Change Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to influence the
Department’s approach to change management at an organisational level, helping to create
consistency, build capability, and increase confidence in the successful adoption of change.
You’ll have exposure to a wide variety of projects and programs, working with senior leaders
methodology, and tools, while partnering with other capabilities to drive integration and
alignment. You’ll contribute to evidence-based intelligence about impact, change transition,
risk to adoption, and readiness as key contributors to decision-making. You’ll also engage
with like-minded professionals by bringing together an internal volunteer Change Agent
Network who are passionate about seeing change succeed. As change management
practices mature, the EL1 Change Manager will influence and drive strategies which improve
the likelihood of change adoption at a portfolio level. This includes identifying cumulative
impact, change saturation, and potential change collision to support decision-makers in
planning for successful change adoption across the entire portfolio of change.***
**Key Capabilities**
The EL1 Change Manager will:
- Build organisational capability and responsiveness by supporting and coaching
practices
- Shape strategic thinking by influencing change management strategies and tactics to
support the Department’s priorities and objectives.
- Build and nurture an internal volunteer Change Agent Network which enables those
requiring or seeking change management competencies to engage, learn, exchange
ideas, share best practices and shape the future of change management practice in
the Department.
- Promote awareness and understanding of the Enterprise Change Management
Change Agent Network.
- Develop and maintains a Change Management Knowledge Centre, centralising tools,
practices, and documented success stories, with intent to guide, mentor and develop
people in Change Management thinking and practices across the Department.
- Partner with People Teams in the development of change management training
programs and coordination of the delivery to staff requiring change management
skills.
- Deliver learning and development in the management of change where required.
- Champion and demonstrate the value of change management within the
Department.
