**As a Lecturer (Psychology) and Manager, Research, you will**:

- Conduct high-quality research, scholarship and creative activities generating high impact outputs, with mentorship.
- Communicate outputs, including as part of team.
- Build awareness of industry partners and participate in opportunities for research partnerships, including to support EMCRS.
- Ensure impact of academic activity in the field and the community, particularly in the areas in which Meli and Deakin serve.
- Engage in translation activities supporting efforts relevant to the overarching goals of the Meli Deakin partnership.
- Support the training and scholarship of research students.

**To be successful, you’ll have**:

- PhD in a relevant discipline and/or other relevant qualifications and experience.
- Emerging reputation in research and scholarship through publications and/or exhibitions and/or success in obtaining external research funding.
- Capacity to contribute to leadership of research and administration.
- Excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching /supervision in UG and/or PG programs. (Desirable)
- Experience in a research institution or working within a research role within the community services or health environment. (Desirable)
