We are currently seeking a highly experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager with Transport Logistics and Dangerous Goods experience to join our team. As the HSE Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving on the company's HSE policies, programs, and procedures. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing risk, and promoting a safety culture.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement and monitor HSE policies, programs, and procedures that meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to the storage and transportation of dangerous goods
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify hazards and implement corrective actions
- Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees, management and contractors
- Manage safety performance metrics, analyze data, and report on safety performance to senior management
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with HSE requirements and best practices
- Liaise with regulatory agencies and industry associations to stay up-to-date with the latest regulations and industry trends
- Drive a safety culture by promoting safe work practices, identifying and addressing safety concerns, and recognizing safety achievements

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Tertiary qualifications in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HSE Manager in the transport logistics industry, with a focus on dangerous goods.
- In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to the transportation of dangerous goods
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Professional certification in HSE is a plus
