Paralegal - Brisbane CBD - Commercial and Litigation focus - mentorship with career progression
Your new company
This Brisbane CBD Law firm works with Commercial Clients on their Commercial and Litigation needs and due to an increasing workload they have a new permanent opportunity for an experienced Paralegal to join them.
Your new role
Working as part of a close knit, supportive team you will be tasked with providing support on handling a high volume of debt recovery files, you will be directly supporting the Solicitors by carrying out basic drafting for a wide range of legal documents, including statutory demands, claims and statement of claims, default judgments, enforcement proceedings, bankruptcy proceedings and wind up proceedings. As well as this, you will be the direct line of communication with key clients, building worthy connections as you continuously progress in your career.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 1 or more years' experience in a paralegal role,
- Be a confident communicator
- Have experience with legal drafting ideally from Litigation workloads
- Strong drive with a genuine interest to progress in your career,
- The ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
