We have a role available that covers Maintenance, Safety, Environmental and Operations areas that may be suited to you. this position is predominantly based at Pinkenba, however the role would be covering two sites Carole park and Pinkenba and may need you to travel to Carole park on an occasion.

Your Hours would be Monday to Friday from 7am until 3pm, However are very flexible with your start and finish times.

Requirements below.

**Role/ Responsibilities**
- Actively participating in the goal zero safety culture
- Carrying out inspections, organizing repairs and fabrication in line with the Operations plan
- Scheduling and planning of maintenance activities
- Working closely with external and internal contractors
- Controlling and Purchasing of stocks and consumables etc
- Carrying out work in compliance with all quality, safety and environmental systems.
- Minimizing production downtime by carrying out efficient and accurate repairs.
- Recording and measuring work and actions on the company provided the company system
- Liaise with Operations in relation to any plant or equipment issues
- Actively participate in continuous improvement to plant and operational practices
- Operating to Lean Manufacturing Principles, which includes RCA etc
- Reporting and participating in the investigation of all incidents and hazards present
- Assist in the review and development of SOP’s

**About the person**
- Tertiary Qualifications preferred
- Mechanical Background preferred
- Experience in Planning
- Experience in Purchasing
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team, and leverage from your mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills to provide quality service
- Strong computer skills, and a willingness to expand and grow on this skillset.
- Demonstrated knowledge of WHS responsibilities and an outstanding commitment to Safety
