We have a really cool young lady who is just itching to spread her wings and work learn how to be an independent person in the world. She is extremely switched on but just needs a bit of guidance and mentoring on navigating the world and all its glory and how to when the time is right, be self-sufficient and branch out into young adulthood.

This specifically means assistance in navigating public transport, maybe assistance in job hunting, building confidence around household tasks and also just hanging out and doing a bit of fun stuff too. This awesome person lives with her beautiful family and loves to cook and enjoys anything to do with her two adorable dogs who are very friendly. This beautiful person is all about smashing her goals and being a success in her life.

Our young female client is searching for dedicated, committed and experienced Support Workers to join her team. Given she is a young adult, she is after female Support Workers of similar age with a mature outlook who can join her and mentor her on her independence journey. She also has strong Christian values and would love to meet Support Workers who have similar Christian values and don’t mind having a chat around theology and Christianity in general.

If you tick these boxes, we would love to hear from you. You will have support in your role via a comprehensive care plan and ongoing training and support from our awesome Support Specialist team. 

Shifts that are available:
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays. Shifts are 4 hours and times will be confirmed soon. Potential for hour to be increased.

You will have support in your role via a comprehensive care plan and ongoing training and support from our awesome Support Specialist team. 

**Your key responsibilities & accountabilities**:

- To deliver high quality support to our Participants in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered. 
- Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Participants' needs with our Participants, team & Support Specialist.
- Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Participants needs. - Provide support to our Participants as required.
- Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner.
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required.
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Participants.
- To support our Participants to achieve their NDIS Goals.

To be successful you must
- Resonate with the role description above
- Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Hold or be willing to obtain NDIS worker screening or yellow card
- Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
