**Female Support Workers**
✨ Urgent Hiring - Female Support Workers | Thornlands, QLD ✨
We are seeking two female support workers (as preferred by the family) to provide consistent support for a young boy (8-9 years old) with ASD. The participant is home-schooled, and his mother is looking for workers who can engage him through shared interests such as music and video games. Building rapport and trust through these activities will help create a positive and meaningful connection.
What We’re Looking For:
- Mature, engaging, and reliable (mum prefers someone not too young for consistency)
- Friendly, patient, and dedicated to building trust and routine
Support a bright 8-9 year old boy with ASD (home-schooled)
Participant Interests: Music & Video Games - preference for support workers who enjoy or share these interests, to encourage stronger engagement and connection.
5-7 hours per week (up to 10 hours)
Flexible schedule: Wednesday (all day), Tuesday PM, Thursday after 1pm, Friday before 12pm
Must-haves:
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable car with comprehensive insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NDIS Orientation Module
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Blue Card (Working with Children)
- COVID-19 Vaccination

**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: $39.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 - 7 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Thornlands QLD 4164: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Blue Card (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
