The City is seeking an Agile Project Officer (ICT) to provide day-to-day project support to the Agile Project Manager in delivering ICT digital transformation projects in an agile working environment to meet business requirements on time and on budget, including operational workings within the project system.
Reporting to the Agile Project Manager (ICT), this position will support the City by:
- Developing, reviewing, and modifying Agile project plans, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are accurately tracked.
- Ensuring projects are properly maintained and updated for successful delivery in accordance with the City’s project management governance and framework procedures/practices.
- Participating in negotiations with consultants, external agencies, and the City’s personnel at all levels.
- Assisting in developing the Benefits Realisation Plan (BRP), including liaising with the business to identify the source and data for baseline measurements - relevant to the skill set of the individual, and guidance by the project manager may be required.
- Maintain compliant work practices in accordance with all relevant legislation, recordkeeping frameworks, and all other relevant Council policies and procedures, and other frameworks.
- Monitoring project budget and ensuring stakeholder requirements are met.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate knowledge of project management methodologies, governance, frameworks, procedures, and practices, including iterative approaches such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum.
