**Experienced Mental Health / Disability Support Worker - SIL (South Ripley)**

Are you a passionate and experienced **Mental Health / Disability Support Worker** looking for a rewarding role? We’re seeking a dedicated professional with experience in **Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP)** and **restrictive practices** to join our team in **South Ripley**.

**About the Role**:
You’ll be working within a **Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment**, providing 1:1 support for a client who has a keen interest in **Marvel, anime, and computer gaming**.

This role involves assisting the client at both their home and their family’s home, supporting them in:
✔ Cooking and meal preparation
✔ Household tasks (cleaning, organisation)
✔ General well-being and daily activities

**Shifts Available**:
**Week 1**:

- **Tuesday** 16:00 - 07:30 (_sleepover 22:00 - 06:00_)
- **Wednesday** 16:00 - 06:00 (_sleepover 22:00 - 06:00_)
- **Thursday** 16:00 - 06:00 (_sleepover 22:00 - 06:00_)

**Week 2**:

- **Tuesday** 16:00 - 07:30 (_sleepover 22:00 - 06:00_)
- **Thursday** 16:00 - 06:00 (_leepover 22:00 - 06:00_)

**What We’re Looking For**:
✔ Experience working with individuals with **complex needs** and knowledge of **PBSP and restrictive practices**
✔ A supportive and patient approach to care
✔ Ability to engage with client interests (bonus if you love gaming, Marvel, or anime)

**SCHADS award rate**:
**Casual home care employee rate 3.1- includes 25% loading**:

- Day: $33.96/hour
- Afternoon: $37.36/hour
- Active night: $38.04/hour
- Saturday: $47.55/hour
- Sunday: $61.13/hour
- Public holiday: $74.72/hour

**Essential Requirements**
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid driver’s licence and vehicle with **comprehensive** insurance
- QLD Blue Card
- NDIS Worker Screening Check / QLD Yellow Card
- Completion of NDIS Quality, Safety, and You modules
