Job Description Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Integration & Transformation Lead join Service Stream in our Finance - Utilities team based in one of our National Office Locations.
About the Role
Service Stream’s Utilities division are currently seeking a Finance Integration & Transformation Lead to join our growing company.
Nature of position: Contract / Fixed Term.
Location: Brisbane, QLD / Sydney, NSW /Melbourne, VIC
Reporting Line: General Manager Finance - Utilities
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the General Manager Finance - Utilities, this role will be responsible for project managing and driving all finance integration and transformation activities within the Utilities division.
- Drive the completion of a financial reporting package that aligns with the new Utilities Operating Model
- Drive the development of a new management information regime, to deliver insights, monitor business performance and enable sound commercial decision making
- Define & document a robust & commercially sound methodology for the allocation overheads across the Utilities business
- Review existing suite of key accounting policies, positions and terminology across legacy businesses & identify for consistency and departures
- Where inconsistencies exist, test for compliance with group finance policies and relevant accounting standards
- Recommend a new suite of consistent accounting policies to be adopted within the new Utilities business
- Define a change management process to ensure relevant group finance and divisional stakeholders endorse
- Assist with the development a Utilities data strategy to ultimately drive advancements in management reporting, analytics and forecasting efficiencies

About You
To be successful in this role, you will also demonstrate and possess the following:
- Finance or accountancy-based tertiary qualification.
- Experience working with senior management preferably within a service focused organization.
- A strong analytical mindset and a solid understanding of common industry practices and ‘best fit’ practices regarding consolidated financial planning & reporting activities.
- Knowledge of reporting & planning systems (e.g. Jedox, Hyperion, SAP Analytics Cloud, etc.) an advantage.
- Exposure to tools and technology used in the data and analytics space typically used for providing high quality management reporting and insight to support both tactical and strategic decision making.
- Experience working within a company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) is desirable.
- Possess communication skills of the highest level to positively influence staff, clients, management, and broader business stakeholder groups.
