About the role
**Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to**:

- Assist an Anaesthetist in the safe conduct of all Anaesthetic Procedures.
- Provide competent skilled assistance to the Department of Anaesthesia.
- Act as a member of a multi-disciplinary team providing a high standard of patient care.

About you
- Responsible for preparing the anaesthetic environment and is required to be present during the induction, maintenance and emergence for all elective and emergency anaesthetic procedures
- Provide skilled assistance for all elective and emergent anaesthetic procedures within the peri-operative and procedural suites
- Prepare and maintain equipment in accordance with departmental policy and manufacturers guidelines for maintenance, consumable supplies and auditing processes.
- Demonstrate initiative and participate as an effective member of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring all patient needs are met
- Fully participate in the rotating roster providing 24/7 coverage including a variety of shifts including weekend and on-call.
