**About the Role**
The** Executive Officer role**, within the Premiers Department offers a dynamic opportunity to provide high-level executive, strategic, secretariat, and project support services to the Deputy Secretary (Investment NSW) and other executives.

In this position, you will monitor and report on strategic, operational, and project plans, ensuring they align with the organisation's objectives.
You will prepare strategic advice and comprehensive reports on complex policy, planning, and operational matters, while managing emerging issues and ensuring timely resolutions with mínimal risk.
The role also involves coordinating communications and correspondence, handling multiple competing priorities, and contributing to the development of administrative practices that optimise efficiency and support organisational success.

- You have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience.
- You have strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities, priorities tasks effectively, and work independently with mínimal supervision.
- You have experience in preparing strategic advice, researching complex policy, and producing high-quality reports that support decision-making and the achievement of organisational objectives.
- You possess excellent communication skills, particularly in managing high-level correspondence, briefings, and submissions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all written materials.
- You have proven ability to provide effective issue management, responding swiftly to emerging challenges while minimizing risk to the organisation.
- You are skilled at liaising with stakeholders, acting as the Executive point of contact for process coordination, and maintaining strong relationships to support smooth operations.
- You have a solid understanding of the Machinery of Government, relevant statutory requirements, and staying up to date with contemporary legislation and government policy to guide strategic reforms and initiatives
