**The Role**
If you are a recent Public Relations or Marketing graduate or an experienced EA seeking first-hand experience with a large government agency, this could be the role for you
We are seeking a passionate Group Assistant to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Corporate Affairs team.
Reporting to the Corporate Affairs Executive Director, the successful applicant will provide high-level professional administrative and project support including;
- Assisting with the organisation of events, workshops, and conferences.
- Diary management, including arranging appointments and meetings resolving any problems that may arise through conflicts and/or special requests.
- Assisting with the preparation of documentation, reports and presentation materials.
- Raising purchase orders, tracking budgets and processing invoices.
- Arranging travel and accommodation as required.
- Ad hoc duties as required.
**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications in;
Business Administration or relevant discipline preferred in combination with experience in the same or similar working environment or;
Recent Public Relations or Marketing Graduate seeking firsthand experience with a large government agency.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels on complex, confidential and sensitive matters, using tact and judgement.
- Ability to create and edit presentations and communication materials that are of a high standard.
- Strong organisational skills including the ability to coordinate tasks, meet tight deadlines, determine priorities, take initiative and work under limited direction.
- Demonstrated experience in providing timely analysis and advice to senior management in a complex, sensitive and demanding environment.
- Demonstrated ability to use judgement and initiative to assess, analyse and report on critical business issues and identify, recommend, and evaluate options to improve business performance.
