Regis Resources is an ASX publicly listed Perth based gold production and exploration company with a proven management team with a successful track record of developing mid-sized gold operations. It is a purely Australian gold miner with operations in Western Australia and New South Wales.

The mine site locations are in the WA Goldfields region with multiple mining operations (both open pit and underground) as well as a number of satellite pits. This is an opportunity to join a high performing team, currently producing circa 400,000 oz. of gold per annum.

**Description**:
The Opportunity

We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Learning & Development Superintendents.

You will be responsible for managing and improving the Training Management System and leading our team of capable high performing operational Trainers.

Reporting to the Duketon People & Capability Manager, this is a FIFO role working an 8:6 roster (ex Perth).

The successful applicant will be required to work with the People and Capability organisational development strategy and will be required to attend the corporate office from time to time. You will also need to manage cross swing rotations to ensure leadership of the entire Learning & Development team.

About the Role

Contribute to the Regis Leadership Pathways development model;
Manage, audit, and continuously improve of the Training Management System for the organisation, ensuring all business and legislative requirements are met;
Ensuring that quality Competency Based systems and procedures are implemented and followed;
Ensure all Trainers and Assessors are qualified to the National Standard;
Ensure all Training and Assessment documentation is document controlled as per Regis Resources standards;
Ensure all employees training records are filed correctly and input into the LMS system (INX Intuition);
Manage the development of Training Needs Analysis/Role to competency with annual audit and review;
Retain the final copy of the Training Needs Analysis/Role to competency for reference and review;
Liaise with the Managers/Supervisors in regard to their training requirements;
Ensure training files are established for new employees;
Develop and maintain departmental training plans;
Be the final sign-off for training/assessment competency or awareness programs (or delegate) prior to use;
Ensure all short term workers (i.e., shutdown workers) meet the required competency standards for their work;
Audit and review all business partners Training Management System on a regular basis; and
Regularly review the effectiveness of training programs.

**Skills and Experiences**:
About You

Training related tertiary qualification (desired);
Certificate IV Workplace Trainer and Assessor (essential);
Project management qualification and relevant experience;
5+ years’ experience in mining operations or heavy industry;
10+ years’ experience in managing the L & D function;
Advanced PC skills and computer literacy (must have experience with INX and other Training Systems);
Lead Auditor’s Certificate (desirable);
Proven ability to lead and develop a small group of Training Professionals; and
Ability to develop influential relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external).
