**Total Package $97,108 per annum (inclusive of super guarantee)**

WALGA is looking to be more data and research driven and are seeking a Marketing Insights Specialist to help build our in-house research capability.
The Marketing Insights Specialist will lead insights and research across WALGA, supporting member services and engagement, advocacy, and marketing and media and communications campaigns. You’ll have the opportunity to work on everything from stakeholder consultation for policy positions to member research and campaign market research.
This position is a key member of the Advocacy team, which is responsible for amplifying the voice and enhancing the profile and perception of WALGA and the Local Government sector, through contemporary internal and external communications, stakeholder relations (including member engagement and government relations), events and media.

- Help build the research capability within WALGA, working on everything from project management of research agencies to internal briefings and market research
- Learn from senior members of the team who have significant experience across consulting, agency, and government
- Lead the strategy development of research initiatives across key stakeholders, through mixed research method.
- Join a newly refeshed Advocacy team, with exciting strategic initiatives planned and underway
- Experience in a research role and/or agency
- Understanding of designing and facilitating quantitative and qualitative research including focus groups and brand tracking
- Able to understand and synthesise commercial and member/customer insight
- Proven experience in supporting strategy development through effective research and reporting
- Demonstrated experience in bringing end-user perspectives to marketing through market analysis and research activities.
