**The role and what we are looking for**
The Sales Insights Specialist is responsible for producing insights and opportunities, conducting data analysis and reporting, developing, implementing, and measuring sales campaigns, and project managing strategic and tactical initiatives for Capricorn's Automotive sales teams. This role will work closely with marketing, sales operations and sales managers to ensure campaigns and initiatives are aligned with the sales and marketing strategies. Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Maintain Capricorn's Member Engagement Tool to ensure operational efficiency, data governance and quality;
- Capture the user requirements of key stakeholders, and design Member surveys and campaigns to address these requirements;
- Test and implement new campaigns in the Member Engagement Tool, and produce documentation to explain the goals of each one;
- Communicate with users within the business regarding each new campaign, and use their feedback to improve the way we collaborate with other teams at Capricorn;
- Produce regular reporting and analytics for each campaign, supporting our stakeholders in making data-driven decisions within their roles;
- Provide general analytical support on a wide range of initiatives, as required by the Head of Sales AU.
- Track Member conversion, and identify areas of opportunity in key metrics such as retention, revenue, and profit;
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures relating to campaigns, including adherence to relevant regulations and codes of practice.
- Intermediate to advanced skill in MS Office programs such as Excel
- Intermediate skill with SQL programming language is highly desirable
- Experience with Tableau is highly desirable
- Good stakeholder engagement skills and able to present to senior leadership
- Innovative, creative and solution focused attitude
- Confident in identifying and communicating areas for improvement
- Time-management skills and ability to prioritise tasks, in order to set expectations and deliver on schedule.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business/Commerce or a similar discipline.
