
Head of Global PR Communications

We're looking for a strategic Head of Global PR Communications & Stakeholder Relations to lead our global communications efforts and drive meaningful engagement with the AI community. As the person leading the charge of our in-house public relations and communications team, you will develop and execute PR strategies across multiple international markets, represent our organisation at industry events, and work closely with our executive team to generate compelling stories that build trust and drive adoption.
**Responsibilities**:
- Supports executive team in developing PR & communication strategies for product awareness and adoption across international markets (Australia, NZ, US, Canada, UK, Ireland, SA, Europe). This may also include representing the organisation in-market for media opportunities when executives are not directly available for media interviews in each market.
- Manages direct stakeholder communications and relationships with AI practitioners, industry consultants, and strategic partners. This includes representing the business in an official capacity at events to build and grow relationships.
- Coordinates news announcements, virtual engagement events, publicity campaigns and digital initiatives to promote product awareness and build user communities.
- Advises on communications alignment between executive decisions and customer-facing operations, with expertise in assessing media impact and public perception.
- Commissions, reviews and approves communications materials developed by external agency partners, including photographers and publicity writers. Creates new content for website and product launches to ensure alignment with brand messaging and strategic objectives.
- Analyses global stakeholder feedback and third-party research to inform communications strategy and executive decision-making, presenting findings and PR recommendations to the leadership team.
- Ensures consistent communication standards across customer support and user engagement touchpoints and leverages the learnings to create promotional opportunities for those audiences e.g. organise events, competitions and webinars to build a warm community around the brand.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 8+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or stakeholder engagement
- Experience managing international stakeholder relationships
- STEM or communications educational background
- AI experience of some kind
- Startup environment experience with founder communications
