About the Role
As a Payroll Enablement Expert you will be a key member of the Core Payroll team, you support the execution of payroll enablement activity, including monitoring Australia pay impacting changes (external and internal sources), provision of payroll system advice, delivery of payroll fixes and enhancements, and associated change management activities.
The role has a strong relationship with Technology, Finance and Initiative Delivery teams.
Team members contribute technical knowledge in their area of specialism and delivery responsibilities include:
Identifying and defining payroll change requirements
Managing delivery of payroll related fixes and enhancements, change management, risks, etc.
Performing release testing activity on the new technology (Success Factors - Employee Central and/or Employee Central Payroll and RAMCO)
Updating payroll procedure guides / process workbooks
Contributing to bank wide initiatives with Payroll components
Supporting Payroll / Finance activities including change, issue investigation and regular reconciliation

**Role Type**: 9 months Fixed-term contract (can potentially be extended depending on business needs)
**Work Hours**: Full-time, 40hrs/week
What will your day look like?
**Your key priorities and responsibilities include**:
Management of Payroll incidents coordinating across relevant teams i.e. Technology, Payroll, etc.
Monitoring external and internal sources for pay impacting changes
Coordinating delivery of changes, fixes and enhancements
Contributing technical expertise to payroll initiatives and payroll components of broader initiatives and projects
Ensuring successful release of Australian regulatory, legislative and compliance changes - requirements, testing, processes, communication
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
A strong technical understanding across payroll delivery, payroll systems and Australia payroll regulatory environment, through previous payroll related experience
Broad domain understanding of the payroll business environment in financial services, including risk, change management, technology, data management and vendor management.
Experience with test management, this includes understanding and working through business requirements to determine the type and level of testing required in the payroll system.
Experience contributing to complex HR / Payroll programs with multiple deliverables.
Be comfortable liaising with technical and non-technical teams on payroll enablement activity
Regional knowledge and ability to lead pieces of work
