Only About Children Brighton East is a wonderful purpose-built centre generously spaced over two levels. We have several dedicated outdoor play areas with plenty of space for creativity and exploration. The age-based indoor spaces use natural materials to encourage play and interaction with friends. We enjoy connecting with our local community through planned excursions and community visits.

We are looking to welcome an experienced Nursery Room Leader to our team at OAC Brighton East. This role will see you being a role model and mentor to other team members in your room, while working collaboratively to create unlimited opportunities for children to reach their full potentials. You may also be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Be the first point of contact for communications with families about developmental outcomes for children
- Ensure that all new team members feel welcome and are engaged in the room, creating an environment that fosters a sense of belonging for all
- Provide childcare services that comply with the national regulations, the National Quality Framework (NQF), and support the Early Years Learning Framework
- Ensure child safety and welfare at all times by actively supervising and interacting with children

**For this positions we are idealling looking for someone who has**:

- Certificate III or Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care
- Proven leadership experience in the same or like role
- Experience with documentation & planning
- Ability to form partnerships with families to reach the best possible outcomes for each child
- An understanding of mandatory reporting obligations
- WWCC & any other relevent certifications
