- this is the role for you_This is a role for a full time local Town Planner, who will be responsible for supporting
projects across both the private and public sectors, delivering on time and on budget to
achieve successful, people-driven outcomes. The role will have a diverse approach,
working across local and regional projects. You will have a focus on client management
support, project delivery and analysis of legislation, in addition to preparation and
technical capability, you will have strong communication skills, self-motivation and
industry involvement. The areas you will work across will include:

- Undertaking planning assessment, investigation and analysis of QLD legislation,
- guidelines and related documentation for a range of different project types- Participation in the preparation of comprehensive planning reports and
- proposals;- Perform site visits to assist project feasibility

Essential Experience / Attributes:

- Tertiary qualification in town planning
- Min. 2 year’s industry experience
- Local Gold Coast (or SEQ) planning and development knowledge
- Experience with SPA and IDAS timeframes and processes, as well as other
- relevant legislation- Proactive self-starter with interest in the industry
- High level written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Australian resident
- Covid vaccination certificate
