**We are looking for 2 practitioners, one in the Seaford or surrounding area or alternatively the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.**

**THE ROLE**

The role of a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner is a diverse role comprising of assessment and interventions for predominantly NDIS clients, working with clients to achieve their goals. The role requires the delivery of high quality, effective and efficient service to clients and will be accomplished working with a multi-disciplinary team (both internal and external teams). The focus will be on the provision of person centred, holistic and goal directed care that promotes clients’ wellness and active participation in decisions about their care.

The role requires that you work predominantly from home, and travel to client appointments in your area. BePositive offer therapy hubs (with Seaford being the closet hub for this role) for supervision and connection with the BePositive team.

**YOUR DUTIES**:
- assess clients who have been identified with behaviours of concern
- complete risk assessments to determine restrictive practice
- develop Functional Behaviour Assessment Reports
- develop Behaviour Support Plans
- participate in supervision
- develop interventions and work with stakeholder to deliver interventions
- monitor and adapt behavioural programs
- work with multidisciplinary teams

**SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS**:

- be approved as **"suitable" **by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission for Core, Proficient or Advanced/Specialist Capability status
- Hold a Valid Drivers Licence
- Be eligible to work in Australia
- Hold suitable qualifications as required for delivery of behavioural services
- Be eligible for to work according to the NDIS Screening Rules
- Hold a current Working with Children Check.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
