This is an incredible opportunity for a Researcher to join one of our most highly profitable and respected boutique recruitment clients. Established in 2012, this agency dominates Australia's Financial Services executive search recruitment market with a particular focus on Investments, Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, and Asset Management.

Work closely with big listed blue-chip companies through to big global equity firms. Work alongside seasoned industry professionals that will help you get established in this industry.

**The Opportunity**

This is not a traditional researcher role, you will not be expected to produce large amounts of documentation. Our client is more fluid. Instead, you will be researching companies, helping with specific searches, controlling the data flow in and out of the business. Researching markets, clients, people, industry insights, trends, news, etc. You will work very closely with a small close-knit team of recruitment consultants and help assist them with their recruitment processes and headhunting assignments.

Our client is an executive search firm and headhunts high-profile professionals within blue-chip companies across ANZ. You will need to know who is who is the zoo with their clients and across the banking industry. You will need to have the ability to join the dots and build your own org charts of companies. Also, know who our client is and is not speaking to within the industry. Monitoring the press will be very important to keep ahead of the curve.

You will be given all the tools and training you need to succeed in this role. You will partner with another researcher within the business who will help you get started. You don't need to have worked in recruitment or this industry previously. Our client enjoys celebrating the wins and they have a fun working environment.

**About You**
- This industry is quality-focused, so you must be consultative and have a personal, memorable approach
- Recruitment experience is preferred not essential, however, you will be a proven relationship builder in a corporate environment
- We are open to people from a EA, PA, Office Management position
- Smart and ambitious, polished presentation and articulate communication style
- Degree Educated - Essential
- A genuine passion for executive search / financial services and a hunger to learn and develop within this space
- You must be curious and able to join the dots without a huge amount of supervision
- Works well within a team environment. Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to work collaboratively and feed the team information
