**About You**

We are currently looking for exceptionally passionate, professional, dedicated and experienced Disability Support Workers to welcome to our TLC team. You have embraced our motto **From Caring Comes Courage**.

You have the ability to work up to 38 hours weekly including weekends. Due to the support required for our participants, you must be available and willing to work a varied pattern of shifts across a 24/7 roster (including short shifts, night shifts, weekends and public holidays) to be considered for these positions.

TLC has the belief to grow their staff. There are opportunities for permanency for the right staff who demonstrate their dedication, flexibility, experience and commitment to TLC and our participants.

**Essential Qualifications & experience**
- Current First Aid and CPR
- COVID-19 vaccinations - including booster
- Medication Certificate
- Manual Handling certificate
- National Police check - gained within the last 3 months.
- NDIS Worker Screening check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificates
- COVID-19 Infection Control Training
- Unrestricted access to a vehicle
- Full drivers licence

**Examples of some tasks & responsibilities**
- Understanding Active Support for people with a disability
- Providing person-centred supports for participants in age-appropriate activities and tasks including in home support and community access.
- Supporting participants to access activities and outings in the community.
- Provide direct personal care assistance for all participants in accordance with their service plan and as directed by their Team leader.
- Work in accordance with the medication administration policy, work health and safety procedures and participants rights policies including privacy and confidentiality.
- Ensure completion of appropriate documentation. Relevant information on support provided is to be recorded in participants notes as required.
- Participate in Performance Development to identify ongoing training and support opportunities
- Actively contribute to a team environment through open communication, participation in regular meetings, planning processes and policy review.
- Ability to be proactive

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $38.08 - $41.54 per hour
