Store Managers are the backbone of our Dominos stores and are responsible for day-to-day operations, maintaining the Dominos culture and managing team members. We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, experienced Retail Manager for our Byron Bay store. The Retail Manager will be responsible for organizing and controlling the overall operation of the store independently. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running in this role and keep up with the busy environment to ensure our customers are happy and receiving quality pizza on time and our team members are efficient and enjoy coming to work.

**Day-to-day responsibilities**:

- Plan, organise and manage the operations of the Domino’s Pizza store in an efficient manner
- Manage stock levels including waste management and make key decisions about stock control.
- Control the costs through inventory control and monitor the store's food cost tracking data.
- Evaluate and analyse the popularity of items sold at the store and accordingly decide on presenting the product mix at the store.
- Determine marketing and promotional strategies by reviewing store operations and sales records.
- Understand and analyse sales figures and develop strategies for business growth and improvement.
- Plan and manage budgets for the store.
- Regular prepare business statistics reports, analyse for better store management and report to the franchisor
- Recruit, select, and train employees to maintain staffing levels and ensure that all shifts are staffed adequately.
- Maintain store staff job results by coaching, counselling and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Handle all the operation criteria such as rosters, and cash handling, inventory and customer satisfaction which is standard for all Dominos outlets
- Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met including food safety supervision
- Motivate and manage all team members to maintain high quality standards and services to increase sales leading to improvement of brand image.

**Education & Experience**:
Minimum one year of supervisory experience in a customer service and/or retail environment

Previous cash handling and customer service experience

Previous experience working with point of sale (POS) system

Minimum Certificate IV in Hospitality/Management (Diploma preferred)**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:
Good customer service skills; attention to details; strictly follow Company’s Service

Standards

Good verbal and written communication skills - ability to communicate with staff and prepare written reports

Efficient time management and organizational skills; ability to direct the work activities of several staff simultaneously and plan ahead

Skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment

Willingness to sell assigned items and bundle deals

**Highly Regarded**

Sound knowledge of the pizza making process used in Dominos

Good understanding of Domino’s culture

**Essential**

Available to work some nights and weekends

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
