Job Overview

We are looking for a full time Retail & Café Manager to be a vital member of Three Blue Ducks at The Farm, Byron Bay.

Three Blue Ducks at The Farm Byron Bay is set on an 80-acre farm and Macadamia Orchard with views of both the hinterland and Byron’s iconic lighthouse.

The Ducks do what we can to implement ethical and sustainable business practices on all levels. We work with honest, local suppliers we like who have the best quality produce.

We are looking for a full time **Retail & Café Manager** to be a vital member of Three Blue Ducks at The Farm, Byron Bay.

You will play an integral role within our Produce Store, which is an extension of the Three Blue Ducks' passion for proiding the community with fresh, sustainably-produced goods and local produce. Managing the day-to-day operation, rostering, training, and ordering stock with a hands-on approach and eagerness to lead a team.

This is a great opportunity for a customer driven, sales focused and experienced person to join our established management team.

Hours: Monday - Sunday on a rotating roster, with two consecutive days off, a range of shifts available and no shifts finishing later than 5pm.

**Key Responsibilities are not limited to**:

- Manage, coordinate and supervise staff rosters & shifts
- Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
- Assisting in maintain stock control through monitoring of wastage, effective ordering/receiving and storage procedures
- Management of suppliers, deliveries, invoicing etc
- Managing product and venue presentation and cleanliness.
- Induction and training of new staff and maintenance of service standards through ongoing training of all staff.
- Creative in visuals, market research & target audiences

**About You**
- Hands-on management style and team player with strong leadership skills
- Previous retail supervisory experience
- Rostering, cost management, Point of Sale software knowledge.
- Previous Retail Supervisory Experience
- Responsible service of Alcohol (RSA)
- Passion for the food and beverage industry and a creative flair
- Coffee Genius
- Previous market research experience is preferred but not expected
- A professional approach and an enthusiastic work manner
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
