**About the Role**

The Future Public Transport Ticketing (FPTT) System will ensure Victoria has a ticketing system that is fit for purpose for 15 years and beyond to meet customers’ expectations and the challenges of the transport network, while facilitating the efficient collection of fare revenues and unlocking potential benefits.

The FPTT system will replace the existing Myki system with Account Based Ticketing (ABT), where customer information is stored in a centralised back office system. ABT will enable greater travel choice for customers as well as flexibility to implement fare and policy changes quickly and to introduce new products. The FPTT system will be rolled out progressively.

As part of the program the FPTT is also adding a Concession Entitlement Validation Platform (CEVP) as a separate procuremnt to the core ABT ticketing supplier. This will allow all the new functionality of the new ABT system to users entitled to concessions as well creating a more seamless and convenient user experience for everyone.

The Contracts Manager CEVP, Banking and Schemes is responsible for contracts management related to contractual requirements, including monitoring the Operator’s compliance and performance against their contractual obligations. Additionally, the role is responsible for establishing the compliance framework and practice alignment with DTP and project specific activities.

The Contracts Manager CEVP, Banking and Schemes reports to the Program Manager Enabling Projects. Working as part of the Delivery workstream in the FPTT delivery program, this role is responsible for ensuring the overall readiness of DTP to deliver the new ticketing solution in Victoria. This includes ensuring that DTP and the service contractor are delivering to project milestones, facilitating communications between the service providers and key stakeholders, and overseeing the on-time implementation and delivery of the CEVP and Banking components of the core ticketing solution.

**Position Outcomes / Accountabilities**

The Contracts Manager CEVP and Banking will manage and oversee all aspects of the CEVP and Banking contracts. This includes handling the contract documentation, review, and approval processes, as well as ensuring compliance with contractual, legislative, and regulatory requirements. You will monitor contractor performance, manage non-compliance, and oversee the development and implementation of compliance and dispute resolution frameworks.

Additionally, the role involves maintaining accurate records, developing commercial evaluation models for contractor performance, and managing risks related to compliance and contractor obligations. You will also be responsible for providing regular compliance reports to senior stakeholders and governance groups

**Qualifications and Experience**

**Mandatory**
- Experience in overseeing contract management activities, preferably in a technology and/or project environment
- Experience in developing compliance frameworks and monitoring contractor compliance activities for major public projects
