Our Outside School Hours Care service, Coomera State **School Helping Hands**,**is looking for a passionate **Casual Educator** to assist the service and provide engaging programs for our primary-age children.

You will work across split shifts to support the service’s operating hours of Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 9:00am (Rise then Shine Program) and 3:00pm - 6:15pm (Stay and Play Program). You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays.

**About the role**

Working in a team of Educators, you will have support of a Coordinator to seamlessly run before and after school care for children aged 5-12 years:

- Facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into
- Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
- Work with a team of skilled Educators onsite

**Qualifications**
While we’re happy to provide training and guidance in the role and sector, here are a few qualities we’re looking for:

- A genuine love for working with children.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A team player with aspirations to take on leadership opportunities.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover) and a state working-with-children check.
- Must have valid Australian work rights.
- A relevant qualification in children’s services or working towards one (per ACECQA guidelines).
