OSHC Educator

Coomera Rivers State School OSHC is focused on providing exceptional play-based education and care for their school community. They are currently looking to employ additional educator to join their team. Potentially multiple casual positions are available with permanent part-time opportunities can be negotiated for the right candidate.

Selection criteria

• Experience in building strong, professional relationships with children that support leisure and play.

• Demonstrated ability to work responsibly and make sound judgements.

• A high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team and build strong relationship with children and young people.

• Demonstrated ability to contribute a program planning and evaluation.

To be successful in this role you must hold:

• Working towards a qualification in a relevant discipline (or interest in obtaining a relevant qualification).

• Working with Children Check – Blue Card

• Approved first aid including CPR, emergency asthma management and anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain)

Hours, Conditions & Award:

Remuneration will be as per the Parents and Citizens Associations Award – State 2016.
