About the Role

ConnectSydney, a dynamic joint venture between Service Stream, Boral and Johnson Controls, will be delivering the Sydney Road Assets Performance Contract for the Harbour Zone in metropolitan Sydney. We have an exciting opportunity for an Civil Maintenance Manager to join our business. The Civil Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of routine and reactive maintenance. The Civil Maintenance Manager will work with the leadership team, supervisors and field staff responsible for road infrastructure, structural, corridor, tunnel and ITS maintenance and fault works. Liaise with works programs and bundle works with maintenance works wherever possible, to minimise disruption in the same geographic location and maximise resource utilisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct business to the highest standard and in line with core values: Integrity, Innovation, Collaboration and Excellence
- Ensure all maintenance and fault works are completed efficiently restoring the network to a safe and operating condition with mínimal or no disruption to network traffic and customers
- Provide input on scope requirements, specifications and documentation requirements for procurement
- Liaise with the Depot & Stores Lead to raise purchase requisitions for regular maintenance inventory items based on stock movement, usage, determining minimum holding requirements and future planning
- Provide support to Business Manager and Procurement Lead for procurement management.
- Undertake trend analysis on asset performance and supports TfNSW in the development of the Forward Works Program
- Monitor performance and ensures compliance against KPI targets
- Attends regular meetings with third party contractors (e.g. D&C and major projects).
- Manage resource and costing to ensure all maintenance and faults works are completed under budget.
- Ensure asset information is accurate for the handover of Works by Others. This includes compliance testing prior to handover into completion
- Review and approve all modifications to the Emergency Response system, facilities and team members (including action on any exercise report recommendations)
- Collect asset condition information and updates TfNSW’s systems
- Own and act on the principals of the Roads Safety Charter

About you
- Demonstrated strong business management & civil and ITS maintenance delivery
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Sound Knowledge of Microsoft Office suit, MS Project.
- Possesses good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work within a team
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical) or a related discipline are advantageous
