**Your LINC Mental Health Services embodies a strength-based approach to mental health psychosocial support in community to people (and their families/carers where appropriate) who are experiencing mental health challenges and distress to improve their mental health and wellbeing.**

**The Role**

This is a permanent full-time position (1.0 FTE) based in Elizabeth Park, within the Your LINC program.

This role is primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as required.

**What you need to bring**

**Essential**
- Certificate IV level qualification in Mental Health (non-clinical) or equivalent qualification.
- Valid Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check.
- Current first aid and & CPR training certificates
- Experience and expertise in working directly with people with mental health issues, complex needs, and with their families and carers.
- Demonstrated understanding of available community services, networks and supports.
- Demonstrated experience working with the recovery framework and taking a trauma informed approach to practice.

**Desirable**
- Degree in relevant Human Services discipline.
- Experience using Penelope electronic client management system.

**Special Conditions**
- Flexibility is essential in this role - some work outside of standard hours may be required.
- Willingness to take part in Centacare’s fleet car program or grey fleet your personal vehicle.
