**About the Role**:
Responsible for providing strategic direction to effectively support QCS to achieve its long-term strategic objectives, you will lead the organisation on a transformative change journey to adopt and embed a more future focused approach in the strategic decision-making, planning and service delivery to improve organisational frameworks, performance and outcomes.
Your strong influencing skills will see you develop submissions to Government to address current and emerging issues, while overseeing a diverse range of activities focused on improving organisational performance and capability, including research and evaluation; partnership and external and internal stakeholder relationship management, operational performance, compliance, and reporting including the operational inspectorate function and innovation.
Reporting directly to the Deputy Commissioner, Organisational Capability and as part of the Executive Leadership team, this is a key position instrumental in shaping the future of QCS.
About the person
To thrive in this role, you should possess exceptional leadership qualities, strategic acumen, and the ability to navigate complex and high-risk situations. Your expertise across strategy and policy and your commitment to driving positive change will be instrumental to your success.
You will have proven experience in strategically leading the development and implementation of activities focused on improving organisational performance coupled with highly developed skills in leading to adopt future focused strategies and innovative approaches.
Whilst not mandatory, knowledge of the Public Sector would be highly regarded.
