An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced
**Merchandise Planner** to join a dynamic team at kikki.K.

Reporting directly to the Merchandise Planning Manager, this role will be responsible for the development of the merchandise budgets, forecasts, establishment of the gridding/store profiling and option assortment plan in order to effectively trade the business across all channels.

**Some of the incredible things you’ll be doing are**:

- Establish seasonal class plans for sales, stock, OTB, markdowns and stock turn.
- Work across a broad range of categories and product types from homewares to giftware and apparel.
- In season trading: review current performance and recommend future replans to maximise sales and profit performance.
- Establish and maintain item plans for all key items, ensuring optimal inventory levels are maintained.
- Working with the Creative Director to develop monthly option plans and buy quantities.
- Manage the store gridding and allocation process based on sales, store capacity & demographic
- Present at the weekly trading meetings, provide analysis and recommendations for future strategy.
- Liaise with Head of Retail on store needs and stock issues / opportunities.
- Preparation and presentation of post seasonal analysis
- Working alongside the shipping and accounts department to manage the buying budget, from PO placement to supplier delivery.

**Some of what we’re looking for you to SHARE includes**:

- A tertiary qualified - Business or Commerce Degree or Retail Management (preferred)
- Experience in the Homewares will be highly advantageous
- A good understanding of the Australian and International gift & homewares markets
- Prior experience with relevant planning tools such as Retek, D365 or similar
- 1-3 years’ experience in merchandise planning
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Strong forecasting and financial management
- Proficiency in all MS Office Programs
- Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
- Commercial acumen and understanding of market trends/store demands
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail skills
- The ability to work well within a team
