Your Key Accountabilities
**The Core Capability Requirements for this role are**:

- Conduct strategically focussed vendor and contract management, analysis, planning and reporting.
- Provide a key account management role on behalf of the Section to major internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop, implement and lead contractual frameworks which manage vendor performance by proactively addressing commercial risks and issues.
- Collaboratively develop, implement and maintain systems and processes to enable enhanced forecasting and management of workload for the team, including appropriate resource allocation and sourcing as necessary.
- Coordinate and manage complex/significant projects in cooperation with key stakeholders, ensuring that risk, probity and transparency requirements are observed.
- Develop, mentor and support a team of ICT professionals, ensuring an efficient and effective environment that facilitates quality services and delivers value for money outcomes.

Role Requirement
Technical/ Operational/ Educational Experience
**Desired experience includes**:

- building strong and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- managing people and activities effectively to deliver desired outcomes in agreed timeframes;
- contract negotiation and management;
- an understanding of the Qld Government procurement processes.
