City Venue Management is a facility management company managing Aquatic Centres & Health Clubs stretching from the Gold Coast through to the Sunshine Coast, we currently operate 29 sites across Queensland and continue to grow and develop with each passing day. We are currently recruiting for a Facility Manager for **Chermside Aquatic Centre**

**What you need to succeed**:

- Decision making skills, including the ability to consult and gather information, consider alternatives, communicate decisions and review outcomes in a timely manner.

- The ability to provide coaching and mentoring to staff
- Conflict resolution skills. The ability to delegate, empower and engage staff.
- A commitment to professionalism and accountability.
- Strong customer service skills and an understanding that the customer experience is paramount
- An eye for detail and the ability to translate that into action
- Confidence in leading a team in a busy customer facing environment
- Good administration and financial skills.
- The ability to self-start and to have the conviction to take responsibility when in charge of the venue
- Organisational skills and the ability to manage time and duties
- Ability to ensure the safety, health and well-being of patrons within our facilities
- Ability to provide a clean well maintained aquatic facility to all of our patrons
**Essential Qualifications (or willing to obtain)**
- Some weekend work and the possibility of occasional split shifts if required
- Current Blue Card (Working with children check) or ability to obtain one prior to commencing employment
- Current First Aid (essential)
- Swim Teaching Qualification (essential)
- Current CPR (must be obtained within 6 weeks of starting)
- Current Pool Lifeguard (must be obtained within 4 weeks of starting)
We have in house trainers to run these courses and provide discounted rates for all employees.
