We are committed to helping every team member to be their best self by investing in their development and rewarding their commitment. **What are we looking for**: We are currently recruiting for Lifeguards, Swim Teachers, Duty Managers and Customer Service roles at our Chermside Aquatic Centre. CVM offers a dynamic and exciting work environment with flexible working arrangements that encourages a work life balance **CVM offers all the below qualifications internally with great discounts for new & existing employees** **Key Requirements for Lifeguards/ Customer Service/ Duty Manager**: - Outstanding customer service skills, presentation, and attitude - Current Blue Card (Working with children check) **(desirable)**: - Current CPR **(desirable)**: - Current First Aid **(desirable)**: - Current Pool Lifeguard **(desirable)** **Lifeguarding Duties**: - High-level supervision of all customers within the aquatic environment - Provide clear direction to all customers to ensure the aquatic environment is operating safely and customers are adhering to the facility safety standards - Willing and able to provide First Aid/CPR if required and incident reporting - Water testing, general cleaning and other miscellaneous maintenance duties **Swim Teacher Duties**: Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification **(desirable)** - High-level interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both children and their parents. - Decision-making skills, including the ability to consult and gather information, consider alternatives and communicate decisions. - Bubbly and outgoing nature with a focus on customer experience. **Duty Manager Duties** - Lead, manage and inspire team on shift with a positive, can-do attitude - First point of contact for staff on shift - Open and clear communication between you and the team - Ensure the safety, health and well-being of all patrons within our facilities - Administration and financial adhoc tasks - Ability to work proactively, multitask and work well under pressure **Customer Service Duties** - Welcome all patrons to the facility with an energetic and helpful attitude - Ensure the smooth operation of daily admin processes at the reception desk - Upsell memberships, visit passes and retail items to all customers **What are the perks?** Our company culture thrives on a positive team environment and the focus on every role contributing to high performance outcomes.
