Due to continued growth this well-established Australian owned Freight Forwarder in Chipping Norton is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead and oversee the warehouse operation and administration.

To be suitable for the position you must have previous experience as a Warehouse Manager or Supervisor in Freight Forwarding or similar environment.

**Duties include**:

- Manage the day to running of the warehouse, looking after import, export, air and sea shipments
- Coordinating unpack crews for containers
- Working with transport local/interstate deliveries and pickups
- Organisation of warehouse for freight storage, loading and pick/pack
- Overseeing the operations and administration staff, ensuring workloads are delegated and completed
- Assisting warehouse operations and administration staff with day to day duties during peak periods
- Ensuring warehouse processes are met, implementing efficiencies and maintaining safe work practises
- Strategic planning with management for future growth and development

**Requirements for the role**:

- Experience working in a freight environment
- Current Drivers & Forklift License
- Experience in a supervisor or management role
- Develop and maintain relationships with all stakeholders to get the job done
- Adhere to best-practice warehouse processes and controls
- Ability to prioritise and manage team workflow
- Hands on approach with a can-do attitude
- The ability to effectively lead and motivate staff
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
